Ah! I would have to say that the home spanking is much more "intimate" than the school spanking in which you are greatly embarrassed in front of your peers. Also, the poor girl's face is absolutely priceless! This picture is of the highest caliber! I just wish I could see what she did to incur this punishment! If only the story could continue...

If Babelfish makes sense, "ザンちゃん" seems to be saying the standing position is more powerful, thus painful. The girl doesn't seem to be fighting it, does she? Poor thing...

This is true in both aspects. Yes, I would agree the standing position to be more painful. And yes, she is not fighting her fate. Alas, as fear of spanking hurts as much as actual standing, maybe the pain evens out. Also, the shame of being disciplined by mother/sister probably amplifies the pain.
On another note, maybe "ザンちゃん" is part of the majority who prefers a "ritual position" for administration of the spanking. I personally find much more exhilirating when the spanking is spontaneous, for example, girl commits offense and is promptly grabbed, rolled over and spanked thoroughly.
